Brewing with the OXO 8-Cup Coffee Maker

We wanted to ditch our pod coffee maker for something more sustainable. Here's what I think about our OXO 8-Cup Coffee Maker.

Share

A new coffee maker has been on our list of things to get in our house.

With Bryan and I both working at home more often it made sense to get a coffee maker that could brew enough coffee to keep us satisfied all day.

Since working at home I’ve become more of a coffee drinker and it’s been great to share that with Bryan and know that we both can make enough coffee for the both of us everyday.

So I got a chance to try out the OXO 8-Cup coffee maker.

We were really excited to try this because we wanted to replace our single pod coffee maker for quite a while especially since we are both requiring multiple cups of coffee a day.

Here are a few things that I’ve Loved about my better Brew using the eighth cup coffee maker.

Easy Brewing with the OXO 8-Cup Brew

I feel like it’s really easy to brew coffee in this coffee maker.

I can grind my own beans every morning freshly and if either one of us decides to have a cup of coffee we can brew a single cup, or we can brew a full carafe of coffee for the day.

Brew a single cup, or a full carafe

Whether you brew a single mug or a full carafe, the coffee maker automatically adjusts brewing cycles for optimal flavor oh, so you get the perfect cup of coffee.

I also appreciate that you can brew as much coffee as you need.No matter my mug I can Brew the perfect amount. I just fill up the cup that I want to use with water, pour it into the water dispenser, and brew my perfect cup.

The thermal carafe is so useful

The thermal carafe is also something that I appreciate. it’s double-walled, vacuum insulated, and it keeps your coffee hot.

This works great for Bryan as he drinks hot coffee all day. I like mine iced so I can easily just pour mine over a glass of ice!

The small footprint

The OXO 8 Cup Brew also has a small footprint. I really appreciate that because it gives us more room on our countertops for the many appliances I cook with.

It fits under the counter, so I never have to pull it out to use it I just lift up the lids to do what I need to do to bring my coffee and then it’s ready, no moving necessary.

All in all we’re really loving our new coffee maker.

We’re both coffee drinkers so this is been a really good addition to our kitchen. We really like being able to brew fresh cups of coffee every day as many as we need at a time.

I also like the fact that this is more environmentally friendly than our pod coffee maker. And the freshly ground beans every day are a really nice touch to our morning.

  1. Yes! Mila, I ditched my pod producing, expensive coffee maker for the Cuisinart coffee machine. Ive had it nearly a year and have not regretted the decision. I’m better environmentally and the coffee is so much better!

    1. I’m so glad you’re having a similar experience! I feel so much better about not using pods, and the freshly ground coffee is AMAZING!
